Beta Information
Following more than 3 months of testing and bug fixing, PostgreSQL 8.2 was released on 5th December 2006. Many thanks to all those involved in the development and testing of this release.
The beta period for the PostgreSQL 8.3 release cycle is expected to begin in the spring of 2007. More information will be made available as it becomes available. A rough timeline for the 8.3 release cycle is available in the roadmap.
